We're funny girls. We set out to camp the desert in June, where days are long, 100 degrees, and for some reason we thought there would be a way to cool off. I even brought my hammock...
Did I think I would find evergreens to sway from? I'm not sure. Point is we learned that the only thing we wanted to eat was ice, not the burritos Kathleen brought to cook hot over the fire. Even the tequila we brought warmed our insides a little too much for us to enjoy.
We used expletives multiple times during dust storms, used our precious water to feed sheep we thought were dehydrated, and questioned... everything.
Nonetheless, we had a damn ball.
